Mentrual Products

In Rwanda, the issue of menstruation has long been a taboo subject, surrounded by stigma and cultural misconceptions. For impoverished girls attending school, menstruation presents an additional obstacle to their education and overall well-being. The lack of access to menstrual hygiene products, its cost, and the limited sanitation facilities compound the challenges these girls face in rural communities. The Hirwa’s Foundation works to break this educational disadvantage and hygiene problem for girls in need by providing free reusable hygienic products.
