Youth Education

The Hirwa Children Foundation is dedicated to its main mission of providing children living in impoverish conditions with free, high-quality education. We firmly believe that education is the key to empowering our community, particularly the poorest.

Our pre school opens from 8am to 12pm Monday to Friday and gathers about 75 children from 3 to 6 years old. These children are selected on social criteria, in collaboration with our local government. Our pre-school program is designed to prepare them thoroughly for their transition to the local primary school and to give them the keys for academic success.

The children are divided into two classes, overseen by our two teachers and volunteers.
